This week's episode focuses on the brand-new Night Demon single entitled "Beyond the Grave."  This is the third single from the recently released Outsider album, and it marks one of Night Demon's most ambitious, adventuresome compositions to date.  You will hear early demos of this song dating back to a March 2018 riff tape. The guys explain how Jarvis wrote the bulk of the song in the form of various bass riffs that he stitched together over time, before presenting the skeleton to Armand and Dusty to add their parts in early 2020.  They describe how the final version of the song came together naturally once the band got in the jam room to work it out.  You will also learn fascinating details about the timing of later demo recordings of this track, how they were stymied by worldwide events and a band member's health emergency, and why "Beyond the Grave" never actually made it into the 2020 standalone singles campaign as had been originally intended.
