Roxbury Drive, mid-80s hair farmers 🙂 Gary Barnes (RIP), myself, John Pratt, Robb Sullivan, Chris Meyer. Gary and me were the Ventura boys in the group. Played all over L.A. – mostly the Roxy, Whiskey, Troubadour and the Country Club. Built up a good following, wrote hundreds of songs, tried hard to get a record deal (and failed). I remember working all day to survive, and rehearsing into the wee hours of the night, over and over – several years of 18-hour days and loving it! | ||
