Next group was Full Sail, with Dan, Dave Henderson and Jay Vasquez. Those were great times! We played many parties, weddings and dances around Ventura, Ojai, Santa Barbara. Ciruth Ungle
Misspelled. Rob: “The band that won guitar amp blew up and we loaned them ours. They won and we came in second and used the $500 prize from Goldmine Studio to help record our first album!“
and
“I have some more backstory to this that night Full Sails guitar amp blew up so we loaned them one of ours and they went on to win! It worked out great for us because we got a gift certificate for studio time at goldmine studios which ended up being the start of our first album!
Goldmine was destroyed this year by greedy landlords and is now an auto shop…..
Of course you would have, our band room is near Tom from the Rotters! He said we loaned him a guitar cord also which I don’t remember. Coming in second was a triumph for us at the time! Looking back on those years of playing the battle of the bands were actually quite a bit of fun!”

The 3rd Planet
Were there other bands there? What is the setlist for all of the bands? What are the members then? Do you have photos, music or video that we can see or hear? Who is the winner and losers? Any more fun facts at that time?
What is the short story around the scene, or what is the link to Peregrine, Full Sail, Flyte, Hooker Crook, Live Wire, Fast Action, The Rotters, Axe, Secret, Snydly Whiplash, The 3rd Planet or other bands?
