Ventura Pier will rock with a new wave beat
“Rock on the Water,” a series of free summer concerts, will be every other Saturday from noon to 2 p.m. at the Ventura Pier. The afternoons of sun, surf and sounds are sponsored by the Ventura Parks and Recreation Department. A local rock bank, Kause, will kick the series off Saturday, June 27, playing top 40 and new wave rock hits. Other bands to play are City Lights, Cirith Ungol, Triton and Omega. For information call 644-7421.
