Kurtis Phillip Grothe
Services will be Thursday for musician Kurtis Phillip Grothe, 25, Port Hueneme, who died Monday in an Oxnard hospital as a result of injuries suffered in an automobile accident. Mr. Grothe was a guitarist for a local band. He was born Aug. 18, 1961, in Pasadena. He was a seven-year county resident. He is survived by parents Lee and Jacqueline Grothe of Port Hueneme; and brother John of Great Bend, Kan. Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Conrad-Carroll Chapel in Oxnard, with the Rev. Warren Twyford officiating.
