INFLUENCES: My biggest musical influences were probably my CU bandmates
Rob Garven, Jerry Fogle and Tim Baker. Basswise, Kenny Aaronson in DUST,
Felix Pappalardi in MOUNTAIN, Tim Bogert in CACTUS and John Wetton in KING CRIMSON.
Glenn Hughes for his awesome voice and fine bass playing. And Iggy is my Elvis!

Recommends in music: This is his Top 30 list in addition to some other albums he has recommended.
Iβve been buying a lot of stoner/doom type stuff lately, like the new Nebula and Roachpowder albums. My favorite new CDs are Pete Wayβs (UFO bassist) solo album, which is like a harder, punkier UFO. Pete canβt sing his way out of a paper bag, but heβs got attitude! I also like The Quill, a Swedish band who sound like Badlands with Jon Lord on organ, and the new Cult album is great, much to my surprise.
Greg Lindstrom, Forgotten Steel
We tried out a number of singers, but nobody clicked until 1979, when Tim Baker, our head roadie, tried singing lead on βHype Performanceβ.
Greg Lindstrom
Nb! What are the name of their session vocals then? What did they sing? What are the dates? And something more interesting about the vocals then?
